Your right to deletion

You can request deletion of all personal data The Coach OS holds about you at any time. This includes account information, client records you have entered, session transcripts, messages, payment records (where legally permitted to delete), and any data we have received through connected third-party accounts (Google, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, BlueSky, Stripe).

How to request deletion

Choose either method — both result in the same complete deletion:

  1. From inside the app: Sign in, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data immediately.
  2. By email: Send a request to hello@thecoachos.app with the subject line Data deletion request. Include the email address associated with your account so we can verify ownership. We will action the request within 30 days and confirm by reply.

Data deletion via connected social accounts

If you have connected a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, BlueSky) to The Coach OS for direct posting, you can revoke our access at any time:

  • Inside Coach OS: Settings → Social media accounts → click the trash icon next to the connected account.
  • From the platform itself: Visit your platform's app permissions page (e.g., Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites → The Coach OS → Remove) and revoke access.

Disconnecting an account immediately removes our stored access tokens and stops any further data exchange with that platform. Any audit-log records of posts published through Coach OS while the account was connected are deleted along with your Coach OS account when you complete the steps above.

What happens after deletion

  • Your account, all client records, session notes, messages, frameworks, content drafts, and connected-account tokens are permanently deleted from our active databases.
  • Backups are overwritten on a rolling 30-day cycle, after which all traces are gone.
  • We retain only the minimum data required by law: invoicing records (tax law, 7 years in Cyprus), and anonymised aggregate analytics that cannot be traced back to you.
  • We cannot recover deleted data. Export anything you want to keep before requesting deletion (Settings → Account → Export my data).
